Christ is what we need at the time we need it

This is from my Morning devotional — “May our hearts make Jesus their anchor, their rudder, their lighthouse, their life-boat, and their harbor.” Charles Spurgeon

As I was reading that, I thought about what it means for us Christ followers in 2020 — Christ as our anchor so the wind and waves of this world don’t cause us to get lost: our rudder to steer us in the right direction; our lighthouse to alert us to danger around us and our harbor to seek shelter and rest!
